New ReviewerThe initial contact with the salesperson left me feeling like I was in good hands and made a good choice in movers. It went downhill from there.
Very poor communication from the rest of the "team". Someone was supposed to call to go over inventory....they never did. They couldn't find a truck (???) so they asked to delay the pickup which also put my house sale behind as we had to cancel showings. They said pick-up would be between 12-4pm but some other random company with two moving vans showed up at 10:30am.
We had already left for our destination so a family member had arranged, with her job, to leave early for the 12pm pickup...messed up her day. For the next 10 days...no one could tell me when my belongings would arrive. They had to sub-contract the job to another moving company...not what I was expecting. I also wasn't expecting to have to pay them separately.
The worst part it that two of my grandmothers antique tables arrived in pieces, my Fragile boxes were crumpled and had broken plates that my great grandparents brought from Germany.
These items are absolutely irreplaceable. Overall....this is such an unprofessional company, with lousy communication I started to cringe every time my "moving coordinator" called to tell me that she had no idea what was going on.
